Responsibilities
Prototype, evaluate, refine, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms that predict the future motion of the ego agent and other road users.
Build the software and infrastructure foundation for behavior-specific machine learning development using established Applied Intuition products.
Collaborate closely with perception and planning engineers on cross-team initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
Experience with the end-to-end development cycle of deep learning models.
Expertise in modeling, input pipelines, evaluation, deployment, and model optimization.
3+ years of experience building production software using modern software practices.
Fluency in C++, or fluency in Python with intermediate experience in C++.
Nice to Have
Peer-reviewed research at machine learning conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV, IROS, or ICRA.
Experience with driver assistance or autonomous driving systems.
Experience evaluating and improving system-in-the-loop model performance.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range of $151,000–$258,000.
Compensation may also include equity, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off.
Actual compensation may vary based on experience, credentials, education, skills, interview performance, and position scope.
