Rover is seeking a Director, FP&A to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for global growth and marketing. This role involves strategic business partnership, capital allocation, and team leadership, requiring strong financial modeling and communication skills.
Rover is looking for a strategic, commercially-minded, and operationally talented Director of FP&A to support our global growth and marketing businesses. This role is a key member of the Finance team, reporting to the Sr Director of Finance. This isn't just a "numbers" role; you will be the strategic co-pilot to the Chief Global Growth Officer and partnering with senior leadership to drive financial rigor, resource allocation, and long-term value creation. The Director of FP&A will bring both the strategic altitude to shape enterprise financial value creation and the operational discipline to ensure Rover's financial foundation is strong, scalable, and insight-driven. This is a hybrid position with the minimum expectation to work out of our Downtown Seattle Office two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays. Candidates must be based in the Greater Seattle Area or willing to relocate.
In the greater Seattle area the first-year salary range is $158,513-$210,822 with a 15% bonus. Additionally, Rover offers a long-term incentive plan with a company performance-based cash payout and benefits to full-time employees. The cash compensation offered for this role will be dependent on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process.

Serves as Finance Business Partner to VP Manufacturing, providing strategic financial modeling, forecasting, cost analysis, and performance reporting to drive profitable growth and operational efficiency in AI factory production. Requires 8+ years finance experience including 3+ in manufacturing/hardware.
Lead FinOps strategy and cloud financial governance across GCP and AWS. Manage AI cost frameworks, vendor negotiations, forecasting, and build a cost-conscious engineering culture.
Own long-range planning, investor storytelling, corporate development, and cross-functional decision support at a fast-growing AI music company. Report to the VP of Finance and partner with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations.
Manages U.S. international tax compliance including GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, and transfer pricing. Handles reporting forms, tax planning, provision processes, and global tax strategy in a fast-paced fintech environment. Requires 8+ years experience and CPA/JD/Master's preferred.
