Responsibilities

  • Accelerate growth of revenue streams (Nitro, Shop, Boosting, User Identity) and foundation for new monetization.
  • Own end-to-end complex initiatives: refine requirements, technical specs, execute with Design.
  • Drive technical alignment across systems, products, and vision with Staff Engineers.
  • Advise leadership on engineering excellence, strategic planning.
  • Lead full-stack engineering across Web, Android, iOS; set technical bar for team.
  • Prototype features, experiment in ambiguous spaces.

Requirements

  • 8+ years software engineering experience leading large, impactful initiatives.
  • Full-stack proficiency: Expert in React/React Native, solid Python backend; web (React, TypeScript), mobile (React Native, Kotlin/Objective-C/Swift), backend (Python).
  • Product sense, technical leadership, ownership mentality, holistic problem-solving.
  • Performance-focused: React and client-server optimization.
  • Growth mindset.

Compensation

US base salary: $248k - $279k + equity + benefits.
