Yield & Monetization Analyst

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to define and refine audience and inventory segments, translating cohorts into actionable targeting and pricing strategy.
  • Own weekly price-floor governance cadence: review geo-tiered Unified Pricing Rules against performance, propose and apply adjustments, and track fill / eCPM impact.
  • Align ad strategy, ad load, and segment treatment with LTV, conversion, and user-experience goals; adjust for cannibalization risks with subscriptions and other monetization initiatives.
  • Monitor daily and weekly revenue, investigate anomalies, and run A/B tests to validate floor and segment changes.
  • Build and maintain dashboards connecting segment performance, floor movements, and demand-source behavior to revenue; partner with Data on instrumentation and attribution.
  • Support demand integrations (AdX / Open Bidding, Amazon TAM) with analytical input.
  • Translate findings into recommendations and briefings for Monetization, Data, and leadership.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in yield management, ad operations, revenue/monetization analytics, or publisher monetization with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with audience/inventory segmentation and cohort analysis; comfort working with data teams.
  • Fluency in Google Ad Manager, especially Unified Pricing Rules and floor management.
  • Solid grasp of programmatic ecosystem (AdX/Open Bidding, header bidding, SSP/DSP/RTB).
  • Understanding of hybrid monetization models balancing ad revenue against LTV and retention.
  • Disciplined operator able to run reliable weekly reviews with clear audit trails.
  • Strong communication skills to engage technical and business stakeholders.
  • Self-directed and outcome-oriented for fixed-term contract scope.

Nice-to-Haves

  • SQL and BI tooling (Looker, Tableau).
  • Experience running structured A/B tests and building revenue dashboards.
