Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Flink, Spark, Vitess, and TiDB, leveraging scalable data modeling and pipeline design and reliability principles to support AI-driven freight matching.
• Lead end-to-end development of features from concept to deployment, applying event-driven and workflow system design patterns.
• Engage with customers and cross-functional teams to gather insights for analytics systems architecture, ITSM integration, and workflow solutions.
• Contribute to backend and frontend platform development using Java, Python, Airflow, MySQL, LLM Orchestration, Tool-Calling Patterns, and agentic frameworks.
• Architect and optimize system performance through analytics systems architecture, data modeling, caching, and workflow integration.
• Collaborate with data science and product teams to integrate ML models for real-time freight matching and predictive analytics.
• Plan and execute TiDB Migration workflows, implement testing, monitoring, and observability frameworks.
• Drive CI/CD initiatives, automate workflows, and implement Analytics Framework rewrite using Python.
• Mentor team members and shape engineering culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with Python, Agentic Frameworks, Postgres, Redis, Debugging, and API Integrations.
• Knowledge of LLM Orchestration & Tool-Calling Patterns.
• Experience in Event-Driven/Workflow Systems Design, ITSM Integration Engineering, and Analytics Systems Architecture.
• Experience in Scalable Data Modeling, Pipeline Design and Reliability.
• Use of Flink, Spark, and TiDB.
• Planning and executing Workflow aspects of TiDB Migration.
• Use of Java, Airflow, Vitess, Kafka, and MySQL.
