EMEA Insights Specialist
Leads consumer and commercial insights across EMEA, translating mixed-method research and platform data into strategic narratives for advertisers, marketers, and senior stakeholders. Requires 7+ years of research, analytics, consulting, or strategy experience plus German and English fluency.

Responsibilities
- Transform first-party and third-party data into actionable narratives and strategic recommendations for advertisers and internal stakeholders.
- Design hypothesis-driven research frameworks and identify business questions before selecting methodologies.
- Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research to uncover cultural and consumer trends.
- Translate insights into sales narratives, strategic positioning, and “why Reddit” stories supporting advertiser acquisition and revenue growth.
- Help brands understand how to succeed on Reddit through audience and platform insights.
- Support advertiser and consumer growth initiatives across EMEA.
- Contribute to brand strategy, positioning, perception studies, and Jobs-to-be-Done frameworks.
- Surface regional cultural insights for marketing, communications, and growth strategies.
- Develop expertise in online communities, subcultures, social behaviors, Reddit communities, internet culture, and platform behavior.
- Create insight-led narratives and represent Reddit at industry events, client presentations, keynotes, and thought leadership opportunities.
- Influence senior stakeholders through concise, commercially relevant storytelling and recommendations.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in consumer and market research, data analysis, consulting, or strategy.
- Experience in stakeholder-facing insights, strategy, analytics, or research teams within media owners, agencies, or platform organizations.
- German and English proficiency required; French is a plus.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including high-profile consumer, B2B, and client-facing events.
- Expertise in mixed-methodology research, including ethnography, focus groups, moderated and AI-moderated interviews, social listening, survey design, segmentation, brand tracking, and statistical analysis.
- Strong understanding of the German media and advertising landscape.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders across German brands and media agencies.
- Familiarity with platform analytics, first-party data, GWI, Comscore, Ipsos, and survey research platforms.
- Category fluency across CPG, automotive, finance, technology, entertainment, and retail.
- Working knowledge of the competitive platform landscape across EMEA.
- Cultural curiosity and strong intuition regarding online behavior, digital communities, and emerging social trends.
- Ability to navigate cross-functional priorities and collaborate across internal teams.
