Promotions

Promoting a job on Hotfix buys a 30-day Featured placement for a single listing. Featured jobs appear above organic results on matching searches and on the job-function landing pages that match the job.

You buy promotions from the Promote tab in your dashboard. Payment goes through Stripe and your job appears in the Featured section within a minute of payment.

What promoted jobs get

  • A slot in the Featured section above organic results on matching searches.
  • The same Featured placement on the job-function landing page that matches the job.
  • A 30-day window that starts at payment.

One promotion covers one job. To promote a second job, buy a separate promotion.

Add-on

The add-on is optional and stacks on top of the base promotion. It runs for the same 30-day window.

Pricing

  • Promoted job: $99 flat, 30 days.
  • Add-on: $49 flat, runs for the same 30-day window.
  • Paid up front via Stripe. A tax receipt arrives by email from Stripe at purchase time.

When promotions end

A promotion ends in one of three ways:

  1. 30-day window expires. The job drops out of the Featured section automatically. No renewal, no auto-charge.
  2. The job goes inactive in your ATS. Hotfix auto-cancels the promotion as soon as the job stops syncing as active.
  3. You cancel early. There's no self-serve cancel today. Email support@hotfix.jobs and reference the Stripe pi_xxx from your receipt.

Active and past promotions show up under Billing in your dashboard with their status and end date.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not prorated, except where applicable law requires otherwise. See the Terms for details.
