Responsibilities

Develop and contribute to project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all project milestones are achieved.
Coordinate cross-functional resources (engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, quality, and HR) to support project goals.
Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, changes, and obstacles to ensure successful delivery.

Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on assigned projects.
Prepare and deliver regular project updates, dashboards, and reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
Support decision-making by gathering data and information across functions and presenting cleanly to interested parties.

Implement standardized project management tools and methodologies to improve consistency and quality of outcomes.
Identify, analyze, and recommend process improvements within the facility’s operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Track project costs and financial performance, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
Coordinate with procurement and finance to manage vendor contracts, purchase orders, and project-related expenses.
Allocate and manage internal resources effectively to support project needs without disrupting ongoing operations.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Experience supporting or managing projects in manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments, with preference for experience in:
- Transportation of hazardous materials, including radiological and fissile materials in accordance with 49 CFR 173 and 10 CFR 71.
- Nuclear fuel facility licensing under NRC (10 CFR 70) and DOE (10 CFR 830) regulations.
- Management of government contracts and funding awards, including response to DOE funding opportunities and execution from award through project delivery.
- Production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and to make data-driven decisions.
Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera P6.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and experience with data analysis tools is preferred.
