Technical Preferences
- Experience with Python or other object oriented programming languages.
- Familiarity with developing services using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
- Experience with relational databases, including schema design, query optimization, and ORMs/integration with Python applications.
- Solid exposure to building RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Experience with software testing, TDD, and unit testing.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Experience working in the AWS ecosystem.
What You Will Do
- Work with small teams - onboard your first week, ship changes during your second.
- Actively participate in the design, development, and maintenance of Closinglock web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Work closely with and learn from our senior engineering team.
- Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
- Consult on efforts regarding feature requests, feedback, and future product development for the business.
- Must be located in Austin, TX.
