Responsibilities

Partnership Strategy & Relationships

  • Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for partner organizations, building trusted, senior-level relationships with their marketing and brand teams.
  • Work closely with onX's Partnerships Program Manager, providing marketing expertise and strategic voice.
  • Represent onX's marketing perspective during deal formation, ensuring marketing value is built into every partnership.
  • Own the feedback loop between partner stakeholders and onX's internal creative, brand, web, and growth teams.

Go-to-Market & Campaign Development

  • Lead co-marketing strategy for each partnership, tailoring to brand-level or vertical-specific approaches (Hunt, Offroad, Fish, Backcountry).
  • Identify and prioritize net-new marketing channels through partnerships (retail co-op, event sponsorships, outfitter agreements, non-profit co-promotions).
  • Provide recommendations, baseline messages, and clear vision for partnership engagements.
  • Build and maintain onX's partnerships playbook, including philosophy, co-marketing capabilities, audience alignment, and mutual value.
  • Develop tiered partnership frameworks defining marketing commitments and deliverables for Tier 1, 2, and 3 relationships.

Project Management & Operational Excellence

  • Own end-to-end briefing, scoping, and coordination for partnership marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain forward-looking view of partner moments and campaign windows for the marketing calendar.
  • Serve as single point of contact for marketing component of active partnerships.
  • Build scalable workflows, templates, and playbooks for repeatable acquisition channels.
  • Enforce creative and brand guidelines with partner teams.

Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as creative multiplier with strategic rationale, audience insight, message hierarchy, and execution POV.
  • Handle hands-on tasks: scrubbing scripts, attending shoots, writing briefs, managing feedback, partner calls.
  • Route partner audience insights to internal teams for acquisition, conversion, retention opportunities.
  • Partner with product marketing, lifecycle, growth, web, and creative teams for consistent campaigns.
  • Embed AI as co-pilot in workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in partnerships marketing, brand marketing, or integrated marketing; 2-3 years managing external partner marketing relationships.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute co-marketing programs end-to-end with results.
  • Strong marketing expertise to serve as strategic voice with senior brand/marketing leaders.
  • Exceptional project management for complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Multiplier mindset: reduce friction, bring POV, improve teams.
  • Comfortable in ambiguity, building playbooks/frameworks/workflows.
  • Strong curiosity for new technologies, including AI.
  • Permanent US work authorization.
  • Ability to travel monthly and quarterly to corporate office or strategic locations.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with outdoor, automotive, or lifestyle consumer brands; familiarity with hunting, fishing, skiing, overlanding.
  • Background in sponsorship marketing, experiential activations, event-based programs.
  • Familiarity with first-party data strategy and audience segmentation in co-marketing.
  • Experience managing agency relationships or directing external creative partners.
  • Existing relationships in automotive, outdoor retail, gear manufacturers, media ecosystems.
