Handles fund accounting for venture capital firms, including capital calls, financial reporting, audit/tax support, and LP communications. Partners cross-functionally with product/engineering teams to implement software and drive transparency using metrics like real-time IRR and TVPI.
About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic support including capital calls, audit/tax support, pre/post close services, quarterly and annual financials, and limited partner communications.
- Bring transparency to founders, VCs, and LPs with real-time IRR, portfolio data, TVPI, and RVPI.
- Improve product and software by working with product and engineering teams.
- Consult with clients and implement Fund Administration software.
Requirements
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to judge when to decide vs. escalate.
- Interest in providing best-in-class service.
- Communicate timely to stakeholders; multitask to meet deadlines.
- Understanding of Venture Capital, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Fund Administration.
- Experience interpreting and understanding Limited Partnership Agreements.
- Comfortable working on projects in fast-paced environment individually and in teams.
