Senior Drafter
Create and check engineering drawings and CAD models for satellite components and assemblies using SolidWorks. Requires 7+ years of mechanical drafting experience with strong GD&T expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update mechanical & electro-mechanical drawings of parts and assemblies following drafting guidelines, GD&T, and industry standards. Create and update associated bills of materials (BOMs).
- Complete a variety of 2D drawing & 3D CAD assignments by supporting engineering team members in the design and development of new satellite components using SolidWorks.
- Act as the dedicated group checker for the engineering team by reviewing and ensuring that engineering change order (ECO) packages, including engineering drawings and BOMs, meet company quality standards for accuracy and consistency.
- Process ECOs, implement drawing redlines, create item numbers, and complete as-built documentation for review and approval under the guidance of the engineering and configuration management (CM) teams.
- Perform project-related Product Data Management (PDM) tasks including data entry and creation of CAD library components with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
- Seek comments and redlines from the engineering team to refine department guidelines, checklists and procedural documents.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical & electro-mechanical drafting, including detailed machined parts and complex assemblies
- 5+ years of drafting and 3D CAD modeling experience using SolidWorks
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing fully dimensioned engineering drawings with application of GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2018 and familiarity with ASME Y14.41
- Able to interpret and check drawings for proper GD&T, manufacturability, tolerances, fit, and function
- Comfortable reading machining drawings and working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams
- Able to obtain and maintain a Secret or TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in CAD, Drafting, or related technical field
- GD&T Certification preferred
- Completion of college-level engineering fundamentals and advanced drafting/CAD courses
- Experience with PDM, PLM and ERP systems
- Experience in design, documentation, and checking of satellite structures and mechanical mechanisms
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and machining processes
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on drawing accuracy and standard compliance
- Able to document and present technical information clearly

Aerostructures Design Engineer II
Design and release structural components for next-generation autonomous aircraft. Requires 2+ years aircraft structural design experience, CAD proficiency, and knowledge of composites, metallic structures, and GD&T.
Engineer I, Electrical Integration & Test
Design and automate electrical test systems for UAV hardware, including PCB development, Python scripting, and environmental testing. Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Engineer II, Electrical
Design and integrate electrical power systems and avionics for autonomous aircraft. Own schematic capture, component selection, verification, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced hardware environment.
