About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operating the software that runs our state-of-the-art robotic factory and fleet of delivery vehicles on solar construction sites across the US
  • Troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting electromechanical issues that come up while operating the factory in field
  • Assigning tasks to field team members to ensure materials are loaded correctly and efficiently into the factory
  • Working with the engineering team to improve factory user experience and build efficiency

Requirements

  • Available for full-time field travel (per diem stipend provided for housing and food)
  • Engineering or technical degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, mechatronics, or related field
  • Familiar with programming, networking, and command line workflows
  • Comfortable doing mechanical troubleshooting of industrial automation hardware (robotic arms, conveyors, motors, actuators)
  • Critical thinker and fast learner who can operate effectively in tough physical conditions in field and under pressure
  • Resilient, positive attitude and like working on a team
  • Follow safety procedures + champion a culture of safety
  • Able to lift 50lbs if necessary
