About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and support the team in one of the following areas:
- Humanoid, general robotics and human data collection hardware experiences (both utilization and design)
- Large-scale robotic simulation construction, deformable object simulation, and its utilization in RL training
- Human data processing, retargeting, pose estimation, SLAM
- Work closely with Research Scientists and Engineers on high quality research publications for submission to top-tier conferences
Requirements
- Strong research background and skills on relevant topics, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on projects
- Current PhD (or MSc) studies in machine learning, computer vision and graphics, robotics
- Passion for next-generation, scalable autonomy and robotics
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with humanoid, general robotics and human data collection hardware (utilization and design)
- Experience with large-scale robotic simulation construction, deformable object simulation, and RL training
- Experience with human data processing, retargeting, pose estimation, SLAM
