About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the Device Trust product team in delivering enhanced experiences that help customers implement device security and manage emerging device risks
  • Contribute to discovery, definition, and execution of product work
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market partners
  • Turn product initiatives into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, FAQs, and release notes
  • Summarize and structure input from support, sales, and customer conversations into themes tied to measurable outcomes (problem, affected users, severity, proposed solutions, success metrics)

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a high-level understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem, common frameworks and principles (e.g., Zero Trust), and best practices (threats, risk, controls, governance/compliance concepts)
  • Connect cybersecurity concepts to real product and customer outcomes
  • Familiarity with IAM systems and common authentication and authorization methods and protocols (SSO concepts, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, MFA)
  • Document how Device Trust workflows integrate with or support IAM patterns
  • Practical experience using AI tools in day-to-day work (research, writing, synthesis, prototyping) with good judgment around quality, privacy, and responsible use
  • Confidence to take on new challenges and see them through to completion
  • Humility to ask questions and learn from mistakes
  • Curiosity to look for better ways of doing things
  • Strong teamwork skills

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust framework, endpoint security, MDM tools (Jamf, Kandji or similar), or identity providers (Okta, Entra ID)
  • Ability to think critically about security, privacy, and governance implications
  • Comfort with data and metrics (basic SQL, dashboards, experimentation, or event-based analytics)
