Responsibilities

Set the content roadmap: Work with content team leadership to establish the parish and school content release calendar, identify release rhythms, prioritize content, and build a growing content category.
Write for parish & school leaders: Craft scripts and guided prayer experiences for pastors, educators, and faith formation leaders for small group and community settings.
Produce long-form faith formation content: Develop series for sacramental preparation, discipleship, and evangelization programs.
Build supplemental resources: Collaborate with Parish and Schools teams to create materials responding to partners' needs.
Collaborate across teams: Partner with Content, Product, and Marketing teams for integration and communication.

Requirements

Passion for the mission to help parishes and schools encounter God through prayer.
Institutional knowledge & cultural fluency: Working knowledge of Catholic liturgy, sacramental life, liturgical year, parish/school operations; familiarity with sacramental preparation and religious education.
Exceptional writing craft: Professional experience writing with clarity, beauty, depth, storytelling, pacing, and voice.
Organized & self-directed: Juggle projects, collaborate, hit deadlines, build workflows; preferred experience managing content for institutional clients or ministry partners.
Degree in theology, religious education, English, or related field, plus 3-5 years professional writing experience, ideally in Catholic parish, school, or ministry.
Willing to travel 1-2 times per quarter for content production and twice yearly for team meetings.

Compensation

$75,000-$110,000 USD per year (base salary). Includes equity, top-tier benefits (unlimited PTO, insurance, remote-flexible work, fully paid parental leave, 401(k) match, stipends), and discretionary bonus eligibility.
