Responsibilities
Facility Operations & Support
- Provide hands-on support for equipment setup and basic operation across multiple facility areas.
- Assist Facility Manager and Facility Technicians with day-to-day operational needs.
- Support operational teams by ensuring work areas and equipment are ready for use.
Shipping, Receiving & Material Handling
- Receive, offload, and route deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts as required.
- Maintain organization of receiving and storage areas.
Maintenance & Upkeep
- Perform routine facility maintenance, upkeep, and housekeeping activities.
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, including monthly inspections and servicing.
- Assist with minor repairs and coordinate maintenance issues with appropriate personnel.
Safety, EH&S & Radiological Compliance
- Adhere strictly to environmental health and safety (EH&S) and radiological protection policies and procedures.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents to the Facility Manager or site ES&H officer.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safe work practices and personal accountability.
- Support the development and maintenance of a positive safety culture across the site.
Operational Excellence & Team Support
- Support organizational objectives and key results through reliable execution of assigned tasks.
- Work collaboratively with facilities, operations, and technical teams to support site success.
- Maintain professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail in all activities.
Requirements
- Experience in facilities operations, industrial maintenance, manufacturing support, or a similar hands-on environment.
- Familiarity with operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts (certification a plus).
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of facility systems and equipment.
- Comfort working in regulated environments and following detailed procedures.
- Willingness to work in radiological areas following required training and controls.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically active work.
- Strong safety mindset and ability to communicate issues promptly.
