Electrical Engineering Intern, High Frequency Power Electronics - Fall
Develops and tests compact RF power systems for semiconductor fabrication tools, including design from architecture to layout, diagnostics, and prototyping solutions. Requires hands-on RF building experience and a portfolio of shipped projects.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of complete RF power systems from architecture to schematic to layout
- Ensure accurate RF power diagnostics and metrology
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to gather system requirements
- Help define firmware requirements
- Source components and lead manufacturing effort
Required Experience
- Experience building RF systems
- RF resonant power amplifier design in the 100s of Watts range
- RF power measurement sensor design
- Hands on prototyping and testing
- Cable harness design, documentation, and fabrication
Nice-to-have
- Advanced degree in power electronics or related field
- Plasma systems experience
- Systems engineering and integration
Compensation
- Hourly rate equivalent to annualized $90,000-126,000 (40-hour week + up to 10 hours overtime at 1.5x)
