About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture relationships with customers
  • Create co-marketing campaigns that are mutually beneficial, to both the customer, and to Cognition
  • Produce compelling customer stories across multiple media including video, longform content, event talks, and photography
  • Overhaul our customer story hub on our website to be more visually compelling and navigable
  • Develop industry-specific proof points and materials for our industry sales teams
  • Partner with Revenue Marketing to amplify customer stories across a variety of channels, including events, email, and paid digital channels
  • Manage production agencies for campaign creation
  • Build relationships with sales reps who own accounts to shepherd stories across the finish line
  • Enable sales reps on using stories to close deals

Requirements

  • 2+ years in B2B / B2C marketing or demand gen experience, or in a role that involves community and storytelling (like early-stage venture)
  • Excellent written and verbal storytelling abilities
  • Track record of creating compelling content across mediums
  • Natural ability to build relationships with customers
  • Ability to go deep enough technically to tell engineering stories - but you don’t need to be deeply technical, yourself
  • Highly organized and good at wrangling stakeholders
  • Desire to work hard
  • Willingness to travel onsite to customers for shoots, around the US and internationally
