## Job Description
## What You Will be Doing
- Track asset lifecycles from procurement to deployment, return, refurbishment, and decommissioning including cycle counts.
- Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Manage relationships with logistics carriers and shipping vendors.
- Conduct shipping and receiving duties including verification of bills of lading.
- Maintain documentation for asset tagging, device assignment, and chain-of-custody logs.
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline technology logistics workflows.
- Standardize packaging, tracking, and distribution procedures.
- Support audits, compliance requirements, and internal reporting related to asset utilization, loss, and cost.
- Support purchasing activities as needed.

## Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in technology logistics, asset management, supply chain, or IT support.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience using inventory or asset tracking tools (e.g., Asset Panda, Snipe-IT, Jira).
- Familiarity with standard IT hardware such as laptops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to lift and move equipment (typically 30–50 lbs).

## Special Requirements
- Proficient with asset-tracking systems, ticketing platforms, spreadsheet tools, and basic device-configuration workflows.
- Skilled in tracking quantities, reconciling counts, and interpreting simple usage or cost data.
- Capable of diagnosing logistical issues, identifying discrepancies, and making decisions regarding device routing, replacements, or escalations.
- Evaluates asset utilization trends, identifies inefficiencies, and recommends process improvements.
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift for moving, staging, and storing technology equipment and materials.
