About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and strategically expand relationships with High Tech customer accounts.
  • Develop, drive, and execute account strategy to deliver strong revenue, gross margin, and gross profit results.
  • Drive the entire sales process from prospecting to deal closure, including launch.
  • Run highly consultative sales cycles with deep discovery, understanding business needs, and championing customer point of view.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and map to Twilio’s communications API platform to design solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels: developers, managers, executives.
  • Serve on cross-functional account team with product, finance, partners, support, and services.
  • Run disciplined forecast, achieve goals, and present to executive management.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5 years of sales experience, with minimum 1 year in major account or strategic sales and track record selling complex technical solutions.
  • Accountable for net revenue retention/growth, relationship management, cross/upsells, solutions consulting.
  • Comfortable working with business and technical leaders, influencing and building partnerships.
  • Analytical account development using data to find opportunities and prove value.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding quota consistently.
  • Track record managing business forecasts and financial models.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to define processes and build programs.
  • Ethical, hands-on, passionate, creative, team-player.
  • Familiarity with Twilio tools: Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, LinkedIn SalesNav, Looker, Tableau, G-Suite (Google Sheets proficiency).
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Desired:

  • Experience selling API-based solutions.
  • Deep experience with telecom companies (SMS aggregators, carriers, CPaaS/PaaS).
  • Domain expertise in quantitative industries (DevOps, Fintech, advertising, investment banking, security, commodity trading).
  • Software, SaaS, CPaaS or PaaS selling experience.

Compensation

  • Estimated pay ranges (for specific states only): $103,376 - $143,580 base, plus commissions and equity eligibility.
