Staff Product Designer, Provider Onboarding
Leads redesign of AI-agent-powered provider onboarding experience to boost conversion from interest to first appointment, partnering with PM and Eng. Requires 8+ years product design with AI tools, funnel optimization, and strong craft in interaction/visual design.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end provider onboarding experience from lead form submission through credentialing to first appointment.
- Design AI-agent-powered intake flows that replace manual, multi-page credentialing forms with intelligent interactions.
- Scale self-serve onboarding vision beyond v2, enabling providers to go from interest to credentialed with minimal human intervention.
- Use tools like Claude.ai to clarify problem space, understand data, and test assumptions.
- Prototype with Claude Code/Cursor and MagicPatterns to build and iterate on flows and IAs.
- Conduct research and talk directly to providers to validate solutions.
- Contribute to the design system and culture, share AI practice, prompts, and patterns.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience, with significant time on onboarding, activation, or conversion-focused product work.
- Shipped measurable conversion improvements; think in funnels, diagnose drop-off.
- Systems thinker who understands full pipeline (CAQH, NPI, payer credentialing, provider activation).
- Experience designing agentic or AI-powered workflows (conversational flows, intelligent automation).
- Strong visual and interaction design craft; produce polished work at speed.
- Comfortable with AI prototyping tools (Claude Code, Cursor, MagicPatterns).
Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range: $212,000 - $265,000 (depending on qualifications, experience, location).
