## Job Description
## Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable infrastructure using **Terraform** and **Kubernetes**
- Architect and manage **GitOps** delivery pipelines (e.g., **Flux**) to streamline deployments across multiple applications, environments, and tech stacks
- Bridge the gap between infrastructure and software engineering by building internal tooling and automation through code
- Collaborate with development teams to understand system domains, promote **DevOps** best practices, and improve developer velocity
- Drive platform security and governance initiatives, including policy-as-code implementations (e.g., **Kyverno**) and compliance support
- Mentor engineering team members through pairing, documentation, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing

## Qualifications
- **Bachelor’s degree** in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- **7+ years** of experience in software or platform engineering with a strong focus on infrastructure and **DevOps**
- Deep, hands-on expertise in **Kubernetes** administration and the cloud-native ecosystem
- Advanced proficiency in **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using **Terraform**
- Extensive experience designing and operating **GitOps** workflows (e.g., **Argo CD**, **Flux**)
- Strong software engineering skills with the ability to read, write, and debug code across multiple applications

## Preferred Skills
- Experience with **C#** and **Dotnet** framework
- Experience with **Azure** and **AWS** Cloud infrastructure
- Experience working in geographically distributed teams
- Fintech or Financial services industry experience

## Compensation
For residents of Denver, CO the annual salary range for this role is **$150,000 - $170,000** + annual bonus. Final offers may vary based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors.
