## Job Description
## Responsibilities
- Use proprietary software applications to provide input/labels on defined projects.
- Support and ensure the delivery of high-quality curated data.
- Play a pivotal role in supporting and contributing to the training of new tasks, working closely with the technical staff.
- Interact with the technical staff to help improve the design of efficient annotation tools.
- Solve problems that help drive innovation in space science disciplines by guiding AI models.
- Choose problems from various fields across space science disciplines that align with your specialization.
- Regularly interpret, analyze, and execute tasks based on given instructions.

## Required Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in astrophysics, astronomy, physics, or a highly related field.
- Expertise and specialization in a space science subdomain (e.g., galactic astronomy, cosmology, planetary science).
- Proficiency in reading and writing in informal and professional English.
- Strong ability to navigate various information resources, databases, and online resources.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
- Solid reading comprehension skills with capacity for autonomous judgment.
- Strong passion for technological advancements and innovation.

## Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced expertise in physics, astronomy, or astrophysics, demonstrated by multiple publications (preferably first-author).
- Previous AI Tutoring experience.
- Teaching experience (as a professor, teacher, or tutor).
- Experience in technical writing, journalism, or professional writing.

## Compensation
$45/hour - $75/hour (U.S.-based candidates). Depends on experience, skills, education, location, and qualifications.

## Location, Hourly, and Other Expectations
- Based in Palo Alto, CA, or fully remote.
- Palo Alto option: in-office 5 days/week; remote requires strong self-motivation.
- Work hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm PST for first two weeks training, then local timezone.
