## Job Description
## Responsibilities
- Build new pipeline and drive revenue within assigned territory
- Understand customers' business challenges and position Hex as the solution
- Partner with Sales Engineering to run discovery and demos
- Manage the sales-cycle including lead generation, qualification, and closing deals while meeting/exceeding sales goals
- Provide input to engineering, product management, and marketing
- Create and deliver accurate forecasts

## Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in full cycle SaaS sales role with track record of achieving targets in lead-generation for technical software in data, DS/ML, or analytics space
- Ability to teach complex technical concepts
- Confident speaking about challenges data practitioners face
- Passionate/curious about data & analytics space
- Capable of managing large pipeline of high-velocity opportunities
- Willing to learn basic **SQL**
- Enthusiasm for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
- Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Love giving and receiving feedback

## Compensation
- On-target-earnings (OTE): **$180,000**
