## Job Description
## Responsibilities
- Build and deliver on a roadmap that balances the needs of customers and internal teams with clear prioritization based on data driven customer insights.
- Collaborate with teams globally across multiple time zones and operate in an Agile development environment.
- Deeply empathize with and understand Starburst personas.
- Own cross-functional interactions for your features.
- Collect and summarize usage data/dashboards for decision making and OKR tracking.

## Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager.
- Experience managing Lakehouse product offerings and their ecosystems (e.g. catalogs, permissions, metadata).
- Proven ability to operate in a highly technical product area where trade-off choices consider engine performance and span multiple product areas.
- Deep understanding of the technical landscape and markets (well versed in databases, data warehousing, data lakes, and familiarity with many of the data infrastructure products in industry).
- Entrepreneurial and self motivated personality with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with query engines (e.g., Trino/Spark) or data virtualization, and how connectors impact performance, governance, and reliability.
- Track record working with or around open-source communities.
