## Job Description
## What you’ll do

- Lead design for major mobile initiatives from concept through launch and iteration
- Shape the vision for Mercury’s native iOS and Android experiences
- Turn complex financial workflows into simple, intuitive interactions
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to decide what to build and why
- Prototype ideas quickly to explore direction, test assumptions, and refine details
- Design polished, production-ready interfaces with exceptional craft and precision
- Contribute to our design systems and help evolve patterns across platforms
- Raise the quality bar for interaction, visual design, and product thinking across the team

## What we’re looking for

- 6+ years designing high-quality product experiences
- Strong visual and interaction design skills with a sharp eye for detail
- Experience designing complex systems, not just individual screens
- Ability to work through ambiguity and drive projects forward independently
- Clear communicator who can articulate decisions and influence product direction
- Experience designing native mobile apps (iOS and/or Android)
- Thoughtful collaborator who makes teammates better

## Compensation

**US employees (any location):** $189,000–$236,200 USD
**Canadian employees (any location):** $178,600–$223,200 CAD
