Regulatory Operations Lead
Leads strategic development and execution of scalable regulatory programs across jurisdictions, translating trends into business strategies and partnering on automated compliance solutions. Requires 10+ years in regulatory operations or compliance with strong stakeholder influence skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and execution of highly scalable regulatory programs across multiple jurisdictions, effectively communicating outcomes and insights to senior leadership.
- Lead end-to-end execution of complex regulatory programs, ensuring measurable outcomes, sustainable operations, and readiness to meet evolving legal requirements.
- Translate emerging regulatory trends into actionable business strategies for senior leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional technical partners to design systems and tooling that enable proactive, automated compliance solutions.
- Identify and lead resolution of regulatory risks or incidents, coordinating with legal and policy counterparts to develop mitigation and escalation strategies.
- Influence cross-functional roadmaps and corporate strategy through deep expertise in regulatory frameworks.
- Serve as the primary liaison and operational architect for jurisdictions, establishing operational rhythms and ensuring alignment among cross-functional stakeholders.
- Oversee product assurance initiatives with a global perspective, ensuring meticulous attention to detail without compromising agility.
- Drive high-impact strategic projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness while aligning with broader business goals.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in regulatory operations, legal/policy compliance, consulting, project management, or related fields.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced and complex regulatory environment.
- Experience building scalable technical solutions and processes to mitigate regulatory risks.
- Experience designing and operationalizing regulatory workflows.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex regulatory information for varied audiences.
- Comfortable interfacing with, influencing, and being a thought partner to senior management to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of aligning cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Compensation
Base pay range: $160,000—$200,000 USD. May also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
