## Job Description
## Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary resource for customers, keeping them informed on permit status, timelines, and requirements.
- Provide training, coaching, feedback, and direction to junior team members; oversee their work, manage 1:1s, and empower team development.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of permit applications, including researching requirements, preparing forms, gathering documentation, and submitting to authorities.
- Produce detailed reports on permit progress and deliver regular updates to customers and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement best practices to streamline workflows and reduce bottlenecks.
- Ensure all permit applications are complete, accurate, and compliant with jurisdictional standards.
- Monitor and expedite permit approvals by engaging with authorities.

## Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in construction permitting, project management, or similar role, ideally in SaaS or tech environment.
- Strong understanding of permitting processes, regulations, compliance standards, and jurisdictional differences.
- Multi-state permitting experience highly preferred.
- Exceptional project management skills to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer relationships.
- 2+ years leadership experience preferred, including team management, coaching, and performance management.
- Customer-centric mindset with background in customer success or sales.
- Critical thinker and problem-solver able to handle pressure.
