## Job Description
## Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and iterate on financial models that project the future state of Blackbird’s business across multiple scenarios (growth, market expansion, product launches).
- Develop unit economics models for Blackbird’s transaction network (Flynet), restaurant memberships, and Blackbird Club loyalty program.
- Analyze market data and industry trends in the U.S. restaurant economy to identify opportunities and inform strategic priorities.
- Prepare investor-ready materials, board presentations, and internal memos that translate complex analysis into clear narratives.
- Partner with the Product, Sales, and Operations teams to pressure-test assumptions and validate growth levers.
- Support fundraising and partnership conversations with data-driven insights and scenario analysis.

## Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, or management consulting. Internship experience at the right caliber also qualifies.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, including **DCF**, **LBO**, scenario/sensitivity analysis, and three-statement models.
- Exceptional **Excel**/**Google Sheets** skills.
- Comfort with **AI tools**, **SQL**, and data visualization tools (**Tableau**, **Looker**).
- Ability to work with ambiguity and build models from limited data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for restaurants, hospitality, and/or the future of commerce and loyalty.
- Based in New York City. This is an **on-site** role.

## Compensation
- Target annual salary: **$80,000 - $120,000 USD** (does not include equity).
