## Job Description
## Key Outcomes
- Lead Elliptic’s strategic engagement with federal and state regulators, Congressional offices, and public sector stakeholders across the United States
- Shape and respond to emerging crypto and digital asset policy frameworks, including stablecoin legislation, AML/CFT requirements, and digital asset classification
- Strengthen Elliptic’s regulatory voice and thought leadership through policy advocacy, content creation, testimony preparation, and external representation
- Advise and empower internal teams with regulatory insights and analysis to drive product development, client success, and compliance strategy
- Position Elliptic as the leading technology partner for US government agencies and financial institutions building trust in digital assets

## What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert on US policy, regulation, and government affairs related to digital assets and blockchain technology
- Provide strategic advisory services to internal teams and external clients on regulatory compliance and government engagement
- Develop thought leadership through authoritative content creation, including policy analysis, regulatory updates, Congressional testimony preparation, and industry trend reports
- Work with our Strategic Advisory team to build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders across federal agencies (FinCEN, SEC, CFTC, OCC, OFAC), Congressional committees, state regulators, and industry associations
- Represent Elliptic at industry conferences, regulatory forums, Congressional briefings, and executive meetings with senior government and financial services leaders
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and institutional client needs
- Advise on regulatory developments and market trends affecting digital asset policy and institutional adoption strategies
- Support business development and enterprise sales processes with deep policy expertise and government relationship leverage
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives that accelerate responsible adoption of digital asset solutions within government and traditional finance
- Build and maintain your professional profile through speaking engagements, media commentary, social media presence, and industry networking

- Supported early customer engagements that demonstrate Elliptic’s regulatory expertise and strengthen confidence in our brand, and have been cited as a key expert resource by top prospects and customers
- Delivered consistent, high-quality intelligence and policy insights to global stakeholders internally and externally
- Established Elliptic as a credible and proactive voice in the US regulatory community
- Work with our Strategic Advisory team to build upon our trusted relationships with at key regulators, Congressional offices, or (e.g., FinCEN, Treasury,)
- Contributed visible US thought leadership content (publication, panel, consultation, or testimony) tied to Elliptic’s mission
- Embedded the US as a critical contributor within the global Regulatory & Industry Affairs framework

## What You Will Be a Great Fit Here If You
- 10+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, public policy, government relations, or compliance, with a focus on financial services, digital assets, or public sector engagement
- Deep understanding of the US digital asset regulatory landscape, including federal frameworks (SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, OCC, OFAC) and key state-level regimes (e.g., NY BitLicense, state MTL frameworks)
- Experience working within or alongside federal agencies, Congressional offices, regulatory bodies, or intergovernmental institutions
- Strong existing public-sector network across US financial authorities, Congressional staff, and policy communities
- Exceptional communication skills, with experience crafting policy positions, briefings, and public commentary on complex legal and regulatory topics
- Comfort working at the intersection of technology, law, and finance, including the regulatory applications of blockchain analytics and crypto asset compliance
- Proven record of influencing regulatory outcomes through advocacy and collaborative engagement with policymakers and institutions
- Passion for shaping the future of responsible crypto innovation, financial integrity, and regulatory clarity

## Bonus Points For
- Former experience in a federal regulatory body, Congressional committee staff, or Treasury/FinCEN
- Experience with stablecoins and their role in traditional finance and payments
- Previous consulting or advisory experience in financial services or government affairs
