Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and scale a high-performing team managing Stripe’s Network partnerships globally, driving talent retention while navigating regional nuances and market demands.
  • Architect and socialize long-term partnership strategies, aligning Leadership Team (LT), Go-To-Market (GTM), and product teams around multi-year direction.
  • Balance long-term strategy with execution, translating into actionable moves and overseeing joint initiatives and new global offerings.
  • Establish operational rigor with processes for partner and deal management using milestone tracking, KPIs, and mutual interests.
  • Drive cross-functional change management with executive presence, navigating dynamics across risk, compliance, product, engineering, treasury, GTM, and regional teams.
  • Represent Stripe at industry events, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and champion value proposition globally.

Minimum Requirements

  • 15+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development, or related field, with significant senior executive leadership managing global scope.
  • 10+ years deep domain experience in payments or card networks globally, understanding regional economics, cross-border complexities, and alternative payment methods.
  • Demonstrated executive presence and collaborative approach, influencing LT members without top-down decisions.
  • 5+ years leading distributed global teams, retaining high performers, overseeing cross-functional initiatives, adapting to local markets.
  • Proven partnership with GTM teams supporting revenue growth, merchant adoption, and commercial success.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, expanding acceptance, launching payment methods, closing complex multi-region deals.
  • Experience in product-centric environments balancing vision with execution across dependencies.
  • Outstanding communication skills for consensus-building at C-suite/LT levels internally and externally.
