## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and grow a diverse team of Specialist Solutions Architects.
- Exceed regional consumption targets by partnering cross-functionally to deploy technical experts against critical use cases.
- Help customers achieve success with Databricks and deliver significant business value.
- Establish relationships across the business to support customers and the team.
- Grow platform usage and prevent churn in strategic accounts by overseeing a regional growth quota.
- Foster positive team morale and collaboration between Field Engineering, Sales, and internal partners.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns on strategic accounts and opportunities.
- Handle escalations, mentor team members, and develop career paths.
- Lead technical qualification, proof-of-concept, architecture discussion, and product demonstration best practices.
- Hire qualified candidates, ramp them successfully, and support promotions into larger roles.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Professional Services.

## Requirements
- Senior experience in the data space with a technical product, such as data warehousing, big data, or machine learning.
- Experience leading technical overlay, customer-facing teams of more than eight people, preferably in a pre-sales organization.
- Ability to advise technical executives on strategic data infrastructure decisions.
- Strong communication, prioritization, strategic planning, analytical thinking, and self-starting skills.
- Experience supporting complex sales cycles and customer architectures.
