## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### Vehicle Readiness & Preparation
- Review available autonomous vehicles each shift and perform pre-deployment safety checks and end-of-day diagnostics.
- Complete vehicle state transitions, checklists, sensor inspections, and verification processes in the fleet management system.
- Perform vehicle inspections according to partner standards, document issues, and follow Critical to Quality processes.
- Manage daily tasks in a digital task management system.

### Charging, Cleaning & Fleet Servicing
- Maintain interior and exterior vehicle cleanliness according to partner brand standards.
- Execute strategic charging activities, including mid-day charging sessions, while completing concurrent tasks.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance, including fluid checks and refills, tire pressure adjustments, and minor component replacements.
- Use approved cleaning chemicals and follow hazardous-material handling protocols.

### Data Management & Security
- Execute secure data transfers, offload procedures, and device tracking while maintaining chain of custody.
- Complete data offload procedures within established SLAs and document successful transfers.
- Use employer-supplied, corporate-enrolled devices for photos and data transfer.
- Maintain security protocols for sensitive hardware and critical components.

### Calibration & Technical Operations
- Conduct sensor calibration to return repaired vehicles to autonomous operation.
- Drive autonomous vehicles within the depot and on public roads for calibration procedures.
- Validate calibration results through system checks and diagnostic procedures.
- Document calibration activities, issues, completion times, and verification results.

### Lot Management & Logistics
- Park, stage, and move autonomous vehicles to deployment zones, charging stations, and service bays.
- Update vehicle statuses in real-time tracking systems and monitor cycle times.
- Confirm service and repair completion, transition vehicles to the appropriate status, and track SLA compliance.
- Escalate maintenance and repair needs with detailed documentation.

### Safety & Compliance
- Follow OSHA, EHS, partner safety, PPE, hazardous-material handling, and emergency-response guidelines.
- Maintain required qualifications and complete ongoing training.
- Report safety concerns, vehicle damage, and operational issues immediately.
- Ensure work meets partner operational-system and quality standards.

## Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of experience in automotive, fleet operations, logistics, or a similar hands-on environment.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and follow technical procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex SOPs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varied weather conditions.
- Technical proficiency with mobile devices, tablets, and basic computer systems.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays in support of 24/7 operations.
- Ability to obtain Defensive Driving certification and other role-specific qualifications.
