## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Define and evolve Modal’s visual identity across web, marketing, campaigns, and editorial, building a cohesive brand system.
- Lead concept development and execution for digital and out-of-home brand campaigns, from paid social to large-format outdoor.
- Own branded event and go-to-market experiences, including environments, collateral, swag, and conference presence.
- Codify the brand’s design language, principles, and operating rules as it matures.
- Mentor and critique other designers while helping maintain a coherent, ambitious studio output.
- Move quickly while maintaining a high quality bar.

## Requirements
- 7+ years of brand design experience building brands for technically complex products such as developer tools, infrastructure, or AI.
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional typography, color, composition, and a distinctive point of view.
- Experience creating brand systems spanning identity, motion, and web.
- Ability to interpret and contribute to brand strategy.
- Strong ownership, execution, and organizational skills.
- Strong taste and the ability to articulate and defend design decisions while responding constructively to feedback.
- Collaborative, low-ego approach with a willingness to share credit and contribute positively to the team.
