## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Set and drive a quantitative research roadmap across R&D, prioritizing evidence that reduces risk on major product bets.
- Develop psychometric frameworks, validated constructs, and scales to measure customer experiences with AI features.
- Own quantitative research methods, including survey strategy, generalizing qualitative findings at scale, MaxDiff, conjoint analysis, and rigorous bias-reducing study design.
- Partner with Data Science to combine behavioral, attitudinal, and sentiment data into a coherent view of customers.
- Build and maintain segmentation of ideal customer profiles.
- Develop scaled usability measurement, including large-sample benchmarking and competitive comparisons.
- Mentor researchers, establish shared tools and standards, and advance AI-native research practices.
- Enable and coach non-researchers to conduct straightforward research.

## Requirements
- 8+ years of experience leading quantitative UX research and influencing strategic product and business decisions at the executive level.
- Deep expertise in survey science, sampling, pricing research, statistical modeling, psychometric frameworks, validated measurement scales, AI and LLM evaluation methods, log analysis, and behavioral analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with survey platforms such as Qualtrics.
- Experience designing and conducting usability research at scale, including benchmarking and evaluations between design variants.
- Experience establishing research standards or practices across multiple teams or an organization.
- Extensive experience with AI-powered products and interest in using AI tools to scale research.
- Experience enabling and coaching non-researchers to conduct research.

## Compensation
- Denver: $172,000–$215,000 per year.
- San Francisco and New York: $202,000–$253,000 per year.
- Full-time employees receive benefits and equity.
- Hybrid employees based in Denver, San Francisco, or New York work from the office approximately 2–3 days per week or more depending on the role.
