## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Analyze data to identify risk patterns and inform machine learning model design.
- Build, iterate on, and evaluate models that detect risk and anomalous behavior.
- Partner with product, engineering, legal, and Trust & Safety teams to deliver effective machine learning solutions.
- Curate golden label sets at scale and improve data-labeling techniques for model training.
- Deploy models into production systems, writing backend code as needed for scalability and reliability.
- Monitor model performance.
- Document modeling approaches and systems and apply current machine learning best practices.

## Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or applied machine learning roles.
- Strong Python coding skills.
- Fluency with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
- Experience building performant machine learning systems at scale and driving projects from ideation through production.
- Strong first-principles problem-solving skills and pragmatic judgment.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, machine learning, statistics, or a related field such as physics, mathematics, or operations research.

## Compensation
- US base salary: $220,000–$247,500 per year, plus equity and benefits.
