> Owns engineering release and configuration management for serialized modular data center hardware, maintaining accurate drawings, BOMs, revisions, and change effectivity across production and fielded units. The role partners with design, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing to ensure production-ready releases.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the release process from engineering to production, ensuring drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and specifications are complete, approved, and released to manufacturing at the correct revision.
- Administer engineering change orders (ECOs) and engineering change notices (ECNs), control revision history, and disposition changes across in-flight units, inventory, and supplier orders.
- Maintain BOM integrity across systems, including synchronization between PLM, ERP, and MES systems.
- Resolve discrepancies between as-designed, as-built, and as-maintained configurations.
- Gate release readiness by confirming drawing checks, tolerances, specification completeness, long-lead procurement flags, and design-for-manufacturing feedback.
- Communicate release schedules and change impacts across design, supply chain, quality, and production.

## Requirements
- Experience owning release or configuration management for manufactured hardware, such as modules, vehicles, machinery, or similar serialized products.
- Experience administering ECOs across live production and determining change effectivity for units in build, inventory, or already shipped.
- Proven ability to keep as-designed, as-built, and as-maintained BOMs synchronized.
- Ability to identify incomplete drawings, missing tolerances, and unspecified requirements before release.
- Experience resolving as-designed versus as-built configuration issues in a rapidly scaling manufacturing environment.
- Ability to collaborate across design, supply chain, quality, and production.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with PLM platforms such as Arena, Teamcenter, or Windchill.
- Experience integrating ERP or MES platforms such as NetSuite or SAP.
- Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 drawing standards.
- Manufacturing or quality engineering experience.
