## Job Description

## Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end revenue recognition under **ASC 606** across subscriptions, licenses (cloud and on-prem), professional services, and hardware arrangements.
- Review customer contracts for accounting implications including performance obligations, **SSP**, variable consideration, contract modifications, and termination clauses.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain deferred revenue and unbilled receivables balances and support forecasting of recognized revenue.
- Serve as the revenue subject matter expert in **NetSuite ARM** (or equivalent revenue automation tools).
- Partner with Sales Operations to improve upstream deal quality and data integrity.
- Prepare technical accounting memos for complex or non-standard arrangements.
- Own revenue-related audit requests and serve as primary point of contact for external auditors.
- Help build and maintain **SOX**-ready documentation, controls, and process narratives.
- Drive automation and process improvements across revenue workflows.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of revenue accounting policies and procedures.

## Qualifications

- **Bachelor’s degree** in Accounting or Finance; **CPA** preferred.
- **5+ years** of progressive accounting experience with at least **3 years** focused on **ASC 606**.
- Prior **SaaS** or technology industry experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of multi-element arrangements, **SSP**, variable consideration, and contract modifications.
- Experience supporting audits and complex revenue environments.
- **Big 4** experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical accounting concepts to non-finance partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
