## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own global accounting operations, including monthly and quarterly close, consolidations, technical accounting, usage-based and consumption revenue recognition under ASC 606, and financial reporting.
- Lead corporate tax strategy and compliance, including domestic and international tax planning, transfer pricing, and indirect tax such as sales/use tax and VAT/GST.
- Build and manage treasury operations, including cash management, banking relationships, foreign exchange exposure, and capital deployment across multiple currencies and entities.
- Own global procurement and vendor management, including source-to-pay processes, vendor contract negotiation, spend management, and purchasing policies and controls.
- Design and scale accounting infrastructure, systems, and processes, including ERP, billing, and close automation, to support consumption-based revenue growth.
- Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment that is SOX-ready, including policies, procedures, and audit readiness for a future public offering or transaction.
- Lead the annual financial statement audit and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
- Guide international expansion through entity structuring, local statutory and tax compliance, and finance operations in new markets.
- Partner with the CFO and cross-functional leaders in Legal, Sales, and Revenue Operations on deal structuring, contract review, and revenue recognition for consumption-based pricing models.
- Build, mentor, and scale a global accounting and tax team.
- Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting to executive leadership, the board of directors, and investors.

## Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including significant leadership experience in a high-growth SaaS or consumption- or usage-based software company serving both private and public companies.
- CPA required; Big Four public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in US GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition for consumption- or usage-based models.
- Experience building or scaling tax and treasury functions, including international tax and multi-entity, multi-currency operations.
- Experience scaling accounting infrastructure and teams through rapid growth, ideally including international expansion.
- IPO preparation experience strongly preferred.
- Experience owning or closely partnering on procurement and vendor management, including contract negotiation and spend controls.
- Strong systems acumen, such as NetSuite, Workday, or similar ERP and billing platforms for usage-based revenue.
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to partner directly with the CFO, CEO, board, and investors.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA is a plus.

- Estimated pay range: **$275,000–$350,000**, with a 30% annual bonus.
