## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Engage complex customers to help them achieve unified platform goals.
- Develop and execute customer engagement strategies with Account Executives and Solutions Architects.
- Coach account teams and peers on positioning, adoption strategies, and execution.
- Influence stakeholders across cloud ecosystems and third-party applications.
- Serve as an expert solutions architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
- Develop customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meetups.
- Travel up to 30–40% to Tokyo offices and customer sites.

## Requirements
- Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and technical pre-sales sales cycles.
- Technical background in data engineering, data warehousing, or machine learning/AI.
- Experience working with Utilities customers.
- Builder mindset with experience prototyping, creating demos, and crafting tailored solutions.
- Ability to work autonomously with ambiguous requirements and challenging customer environments.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives and orchestrate teams for long-term customer success.
- Coding experience in Python or SQL and willingness to learn Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms.
- Business-professional fluency in Japanese.

## Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Databricks Certification.
- Business-level English proficiency.
