## Job Description

## Engagement
- Independent contractor engagement, not a Rokt employment contract.
- Operate through a registered German legal entity, such as an Einzelunternehmen, UG, or GmbH, and invoice Rokt under a services agreement.

## Responsibilities
- Sign net-new Rokt Ads advertiser logos across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Build and convert a high-quality pipeline of priority DACH advertiser opportunities.
- Develop senior stakeholder relationships across marketing, ecommerce, digital, performance, and commercial functions.
- Own discovery and pitch processes with market-leading DACH advertisers.
- Share DACH advertiser feedback, competitive signals, and go-to-market insights with the EMEA team.

## Requirements
- Significant experience in direct adtech, digital advertising, media, or performance marketing sales in Germany or the broader DACH market.
- Proven track record of signing net-new logos with market-leading German or DACH brands, ideally in ecommerce or performance environments.
- Native or near-native German fluency and strong professional English.
- Deep understanding of the DACH advertiser landscape, including ecommerce, retail, travel, finance, subscription, and consumer brands.
- Strong commercial discipline in prospecting, pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation, and deal execution.
- High ownership, resilience, and bias for action.
- Ability to operate through a registered German legal entity and manage tax and social obligations under German law.
- Awareness of Scheinselbständigkeit requirements and willingness to structure the engagement compliantly.
- Prior experience as an independent consultant, Freiberufler, or contractor in Germany is strongly preferred.

## Nice to Have
- Experience in commerce media, retail media, affiliate marketing, customer acquisition, or AI-driven advertising solutions.
- Familiarity with major DACH players such as Otto Group, Zalando, MediaMarktSaturn, CHECK24, HRS, and the Scout24 ecosystem.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly retainer commensurate with experience.
- Performance incentive tied to net-new Rokt Ads advertiser logos signed.
- Reimbursement of reasonable pre-approved travel and out-of-pocket expenses.
- Retainer is not linked to a fixed number of hours or working schedule.
- Invoicing and payment terms established in the services agreement.
