## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Manage the Fleet Support Operations team and cross-functional relationships to ensure execution of business initiatives, improve processes, and deploy systems and infrastructure.
- Provide mentoring, accountability, leadership development, training, and performance management to direct reports; handle succession planning.
- Strategically forecast team growth aligned with company roadmap; participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training processes.
- Define, track, and drive continuous improvement in systems, tools, and methods to increase fleet uptime.
- Define and execute against objectives and KPIs; reinforce and engage the team.
- Optimize workstreams to reduce vehicle maintenance and repair downtime, increasing uptime for engineering testing.
- Forecast and oversee team budget for crew and vehicle supplies.
- Enforce environmental, health, and safety policies; maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free workshop and raise the bar on safety.

## Requirements
- 8+ years of transportation industry experience, preferably in operations with some fleet/maintenance management.
- 5+ years managing teams of 10 or more people across multiple projects.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and operational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Awareness of environmental, health, and safety protocols.
- Clear and effective communication; comfortable engaging with senior leadership.
- Experience building cross-functional relationships to help the team scale.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Proficiency in Jira/Confluence, SAP ERP, MS Office, Google Suites, Lucid Charts, and Slack.
- Experience in an NPI environment and working cross-functionally with PMO or engineering organizations.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams on go-to-market initiatives.
- Background in autonomous vehicle, transportation dispatch, or emergency response industries.
