## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build and scale patient-facing mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
- Own end-to-end delivery of mobile features from design through release and monitoring.
- Partner with Product, Design, and backend engineering to create intuitive, reliable experiences.
- Evolve mobile architecture and improve engineering quality through testing and performance optimization.
- Make project tradeoffs, communicate rationale, and surface risks early.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.

## Requirements
- **5+ years** of software engineering experience, including **3+ years** building production mobile applications.
- **3+ years** of experience with React Native, TypeScript, and modern React development.
- Experience shipping mobile features end-to-end.
- Working knowledge of native iOS using Swift or Objective-C and Android using Kotlin or Java.
- Ability to own projects from design through delivery and communicate scope and estimates.
- Strong collaboration skills with teammates and cross-functional partners.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, including understanding their benefits, risks, and need for human judgment.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play.
- Experience with mobile CI/CD and automated release pipelines.
- Experience building AI-powered or LLM-enabled mobile features.
- Familiarity with mobile observability and crash-reporting tools such as Datadog, Crashlytics, or Sentry.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

## Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range of **$166,000–$203,000**.
