## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### Product Development & Roadmap Support
- Contribute to the product roadmap by gathering and synthesizing customer, stakeholder, and data inputs.
- Document product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct competitive research and user interviews.
- Identify opportunities to unify workflows and incorporate AI-based functionality.

### Product Owner Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the product backlog for assigned workstreams.
- Prioritize and sequence backlog items based on business value, dependencies, and stakeholder input.
- Make day-to-day trade-off decisions and escalate larger scope decisions.
- Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done.
- Serve as the primary contact for engineering questions during sprints.
- Track epics and releases in Jira and Confluence, including status, risks, and blockers.

### Internal Operations & VOS Partnership
- Work with the Vestmark Outsourced Services team to understand back-office operations.
- Translate operational pain points into problem statements and product requirements.
- Partner with the Efficiency and Automation team and VOS leadership to prioritize internal tooling investments.

### Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Operations teams.
- Liaise between business stakeholders and development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prepare and present product updates to internal stakeholders and team leads.

### Execution & Delivery
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including refinement, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Track post-launch product performance and identify improvements using feedback and metrics.
- Support scope and trade-off management with senior leadership guidance.
- Use artificial intelligence responsibly to accelerate development execution and requirements writing.

### Regulatory & Compliance Awareness
- Develop working knowledge of financial regulations and compliance considerations.
- Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure features meet applicable standards.

## Requirements
- 2–3 years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, financial services, or a technology-driven environment.
- Experience acting as a product owner is a plus.
- Basic familiarity with investing or wealth management concepts, such as account types, portfolios, or advisory services.
- Exposure to agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize information and present it clearly.
- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and grow in a structured environment.
- Comfort partnering with internal operations teams and translating manual workflows into product requirements.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience contributing to a consumer-facing digital product from discovery through launch.
- Comfort working with data and metrics to support product decisions.
- Basic SQL or business intelligence tool familiarity.
- Exposure to regulated industries or compliance-sensitive product development.
- Experience with back-office, operations, or business process outsourcing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

## Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: **$90,000–$120,000 USD**.
- Comprehensive total rewards package, including 90% company-paid medical premiums, competitive time off, and other variable compensation when eligible.
