## Job Description

## What You'll Do

- **Strategic Leadership**: Drive the long-term vision and technical strategy for critical areas of NexHealth's platform.
- **Team Development**: Hire, grow, and retain top engineering talent; mentor emerging leaders; and foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and innovation.
- **Execution Excellence**: Own the delivery of complex initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring clear alignment between product goals and technical execution.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Partner with Product, Design, and Go-to-Market teams to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
- **Technical Oversight**: Guide system architecture, scalability, and maintainability across product domains; champion best practices in code quality, testing, reliability, and security.
- **Org & Culture Building**: Shape organizational structures, career paths, and team processes to promote high performance and strong engineering culture.

## What You'll Bring

- 7+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including managing managers or larger organizations
- Exceptional people leadership skills with a proven track record of coaching and developing engineers and managers
- Deep experience delivering complex, customer-facing software at scale
- Strong judgment in balancing product velocity with long-term technical quality
- Demonstrated ability to define and drive both technical and organizational roadmaps
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, able to partner fluidly with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and other teams
- A builder mindset with experience scaling teams and systems in fast-paced environments
- Strong ownership and initiative in ambiguous, evolving contexts
- Bias for action grounded in data-driven decision making
- First-principles thinking applied to technical and organizational challenges
- Deep care for people development, team health, and culture
- Alignment with NexHealth's core values and mission
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

## Compensation

Base salary range: $187,000—$268,000 USD
