## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Be a strategic financial partner to the newly formed organization.
- Own the budgeting and forecasting processes, including partnering with business on controllable spend and key metrics, preparing budget vs. actual variance analysis, leading analysis on key drivers, partnering on operational efficiencies, collaborating on accruals, and evolving processes.
- Conduct M&A Deal Model Review & Stress-Testing: evaluate, critique, and pressure-test buy-side valuation and financial deal models; lead financial due diligence; translate deal-stage models into operational budgets, COA structures, and FP&A tracking post-close.
- Participate in long-range strategic planning.
- Partner on Pricing & Packaging Strategies: conduct financial modeling and margin impact analysis for new product introductions and monetization models.
- Lead Enterprise Deal Structuring & Margin Analysis: provide real-time deal desk support, profitability guardrails, and scenario modeling for complex enterprise proposals.
- Evaluate Unit Economics & Margin Trade-offs: develop models for discount structures, multi-year deals, cloud costs, and gross margin trade-offs.
- Synthesize insights for leadership on pricing dynamics and deal-level margin analytics.
- Manage frequent ad hoc projects to support senior management.
- Lead process and systems improvement projects and partner cross-functionally to drive growth and scaling.

## Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of FP&A experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Proficiency with FP&A systems (Anaplan, Workday experience a plus).
- Proficiency with AI tools and implementing them into workflows.
- Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, strong PowerPoint/Google Slides skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment with high precision.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Comfortable with change and challenging the status quo.

## Nice-to-Haves
- MBA, Big 4 accounting, or investment banking experience.
- M&A support experience including deal model review, financial diligence, operating model conversion, and post-merger integration/synergy tracking.
- Prior experience in a high-growth high tech/software/SaaS organization.
