Event Marketing Manager
Own and scale a 40+ event per year program (trade shows, roadshows, executive dinners) that drives qualified pipeline for an applied-ML startup selling into accounting firms.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute 40+ events per year including customer community events, multi-city roadshows, 2,000+ person industry trade shows, and executive dinners
- Set clear goals, tailored programming, and measurable outcomes for each event
- Partner with sales and leadership on pre-show outreach, on-site meeting programs, and post-event follow-up sequences to convert engagement into qualified pipeline
- Own event budgets, vendor relationships, and timelines
- Build repeatable playbooks and processes as the events function scales
Requirements
- 3+ years owning B2B events end-to-end (conferences, trade shows, executive experiences, customer community)
- Strong brand instinct for how a company shows up across signage, swag, booth design, and team presence
- Ability to manage high-volume events simultaneously across owned and third-party programs
- Track record of measuring event performance through to pipeline and using data to inform decisions
- Ability to travel 15-25%
- In-office 5 days/week in NYC Flatiron office (when not traveling)

- Enterprise event expertise supporting sales teams through high-touch moments (executive dinners, partner programs, on-site meetings)
- Familiarity with accounting profession, AICPA, state societies, and CPA firm buyer personas
- Proficiency in event management platforms and CRM systems; eagerness to leverage AI for efficiency
