## Job Description
## Responsibilities

- **Team Leadership**: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product engineers, responsible for building data analysis products on top of Turquoise’s health service pricing data.
- **Product Delivery**: Own the technical execution and delivery of key product features, ensuring high quality, performance, and scalability.
- **Technical Direction**: Provide technical guidance and oversight, specifically in modern frontend technologies (VueJS), ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and design are followed.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goals. Foster a high-performance and inclusive culture.
- **Quality & Excellence**: Champion a culture of high quality, conducting code reviews and ensuring the product meets rigorous standards for user experience and reliability.

## Requirements

- 5+ years experience in product engineering, or a related role, with 2+ years of experience managing a team of engineers.
- Proven expertise shipping reliable products with high quality user experiences.
- A track record of building inclusive teams, with process decisions informed by bottom-up insight from engineers.
- Proven expertise managing and evolving incident response practices and managing an on-call schedule.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and platform services such as Heroku.
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (DataDog).
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical issues to non-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

## Nice-to-Haves

- Experience working in SaaS or data-intensive environments.
- Familiarity with compliance (HIPAA) and security frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO-27001).
- Familiarity and experience with Python, Django, and VueJS.
- Experience in a remote-first environment.
