## Job Description
## Responsibilities
- Manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative culture and upholding high technical standards
- Grow the team through hiring and nurturing engineering talent
- Leverage technical expertise in software engineering to guide the team in building robust and scalable solutions
- Review & provide feedback for technical design docs and code changes
- Collaborate with the product team to create and execute the product roadmap
- Take on development tasks and debug production issues when necessary – this often involves diving into the details of infrastructure implementation, job systems, and full-stack features
- Grow the team and evolve processes to fit changing needs

## Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering and proficiency in Javascript/Typescript
- Experience building full-stack products, with contribution to both frontend and backend
- 2+ years of experience in managing or leading engineering teams with a record of shipping high-quality products in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent technical communicator to a diverse group of audiences
- Collaborative mindset and proven experience in working in cross-functional teams in a remote environment
- Passionate about privacy and eager to contribute to a mission-driven organization

## Compensation
- USA Pay Range $180,000—$200,000 USD (applies to Tier 1 labor markets like SF Bay Area and New York City; may be adjusted based on location and qualifications)
